Bennie Bengough played the majority of his Major League career as a catcher for the 1920’s Yankee dynasty, most notably as a reserve backstop on the famed Murderers' Row squad of 1927. Considered one of the tougher 1927 singles from the famed squad, Bengough balls are exceeding rare with less than 5 being publicly sold in the last ten years. Offered here is a vintage Official League sphere signed & dated to 1950 by the former Yankees catcher Bennie Bengough in bold ink. Overall in good condition with toning/use throughout.
