Amelia Earhart was an American aviation pioneer and author. She was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. During an attempt to make a circumnavigational flight of the globe in 1937 (at 40 years old) in a Lockheed Model 10 Electra, Earhart disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean near Howland Island, never to be seen or heard from again. Offered here is a seldom seen hard cover "The Fun Of It" book signed on the inside page by Amelia Earhart. Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear to the edges.
