Offered up here is a handsome 7" x 9" sepia portrait of the Babe in his playing prime, circa 1927-28 (as noted in the top right corner), nicely hand signed by the Bambino himself along his burly right shoulder in black fountain pen. As noted by JSA, above Ruth's authentic autograph is a secretarial version of his autograph with salutation. Photo exhibits some trimming of the borders and the corners. Some light scattered surface impressions, otherwise fine. Nicely custom matted and housed in an attractive wood finish frame, measuring 18" x 20.5" overall. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
