Simply stated, Barry Bonds was one of the best hitters of All-Time, but is also one of the most polarizing due to allegations. Playing 22 years in the big leagues, amassing not only incredible stats, but Major League Baseball records along the way. Some of Bond's MLB records include 7 NL MVPs , 4 consecutive MVP awards, home runs in a single season (73), home runs over a career (762) and considered one of the most "unbreakable" records of all-time with 232 walks in one season. Prior to any controversy, Bonds would take the field during his 20's for the Pittsburgh Pirates, leading them to consecutive NL East titles from 1990-1992, the last division titles the historic franchise has been able to secure. As far as Bonds performance during those title years, just three Gold Gloves, three Silver Sluggers and two MVPs. Offered here for you bidding pleasure is a perfectly graded 33.75 inch, 30.8 ounce flame burned ash H238 Louisville Slugger baseball bat used by Barry Bonds between 1991-92. Featuring outstanding use, including many ball/stitch transfer marks, a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle and Bonds number of "24" written on the knob in black marker. Also adding to this offering is Bonds bold vintage felt tip signature to the barrel. Overall in fine condition with outstanding use and a slight crack on the back barrel. Knowing Bonds, a few dingers left the yard with this choice lumber! Authenticated a perfect GU 10 by the experts at PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
