Rare divorce agreement document, 8.5” x 11,” signed in black ballpoint pen by Bob Dylan. The one page of “Modification of Marital Settlement Agreement of Carolyn Y. Dennis and Robert Dylan,” reads in part, “Pursuant to paragraph 18, of the Marital Settlement Agreement entered into between Carolyn Y. Dennis and Robert Dylan dated August 1, 1992…is modified and changed as follows…Desiree’s Property and Assets…are hereby stricken and deleted.” Signed at the conclusion by both the singer’s second wife, Carolyn Dennis, and Dylan himself, “aka R. Zimmerman.” A scarce piece boasting an exceptional signature and documenting Dylan’s second marriage which was not known by the public until a biography, “Down the Highway: The Life of Bob Dylan” was published in 2001.
