A Marley Masterpiece - One of the Finest Signed Bob Marley Albums Extent!Here is a stunning original 1977 UK Island Records first vinyl pressing (ILPS 9498) of Bob Marley’s legendary ninth studio album Exodus signed and inscribed on the front cover ‘Love Rastafari Live Bob Marley’ in blue ballpoint pen. The autograph was obtained following a UK-based Bob Marley performance in the mid-1970s. On 3 December 1976, an assassination attempt was made on Bob Marley’s life in which his chest was grazed and his arm was struck with a bullet. Following the assassination attempt, Marley fled Jamaica and was exiled to London, where Exodus was recorded. Released in June 1977, Exodus is the ninth studio album by Bob Marley and the Wailers. Boasting classic songs such as “Exodus”, “Jamming”, Three Little Birds”, and “One Love/People Get Ready”, the album propelled Marley to international stardom. Today, Exodus is widely considered Bob Marley’s greatest recorded work. Authentically signed albums by Bob Marley are quite rare and this is a beautiful signed example of Marley’s magnum opus. This is a spectacular first issue cover with embossed ‘Exodus’ lettering. The cover and original vinyl record are in excellent condition.
