Offered here is an incredibly rare 9" x 11" color photo featuring three of the pioneers of the space frontier - Yuri Gagarin, who was the first man in space when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit of the Earth on April 12, 1961; Valentina Tershkova, the first woman in space; and Valery Bykovsky who, in the "space race" of the 1960s, spent the longest time in outer space. Gagarin died tragically in 1968 when the MiG-15 training jet he was piloting crashed. All three of these Russian cosmonauts have come together to sign the photo in blue ink. In fine condition with very light handling wear. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
