Offered here is a signed letter by the late, great, Dr. Seuss - with a rare "Ted" signature! (Theodore Geisel was Dr. Seuss' "real" name.) This is a correspondence to Diddo Clark, a local school teacher in La Jolla (Seuss' place of residence). The letter reads, in full, "Dear Diddo: Merry Christmas again and thank you for that remarkable letter from your student! Ted." Seuss has added a hand drawn sketch of a Christmas tree (reminiscent of the Grinch's tree!) on his personal stationary. It is dated December 17th, 1971 and is on 7" x 10.25" stationary. The piece is in overall very good condition. It contains two creases from being mailed, but otherwise, the signature and drawing are both bold and prevalent.
