Presented for your bidding consideration is a vintage 9.5" x 7.75" program from a banquet honoring then recently-anointed Heisman Trophy winner Ernie Davis--the first African American to receive the prestigious award--nicely hand signed on the cover by Davis and former New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller in blue ballpoint pen. Well preserved and in excellent condition. Accompanied by Letters of Authenticity from Davis' nephew (Reginald McLee) and Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
