Despite the fame, he was a very reluctant signer, enough so that this offering is one of only a handful of single signed spheres we have offered by the Mets manager. This Official National League baseball has been signed by Hodges, "Best Wishes, Gil Hodges" on the side panel. A rarity on their own, this inscribed example is sure to triumph most Hodges balls headlined by the exceptionally bold signature! Overall in fine condition with slight discoloration and handling wear. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
