Hampered during his career by bouts of alcoholism and epilepsy, Hall of Fame hurler Grover Cleveland Alexander often showed the symptoms and effects of both—and was usually left alone in his despair, as few could determine exactly which ailment was taking control. Perhaps a product of these woes, Alexander kept conversation and personal interaction to a minimum. Despite his ailments, one thing was for certain: the man could pitch! Offered here is an ULTRA-RARE glossy 6" x 7" Chicago Cubs photograph signed by Grover Cleveland Alexander in ballpoint. One of the only promotional-size images we have ever handled signed by the former MLB legend. Overall in good condition with minor discoloration to the reverse.
