Featured here is the only card to ever feature Hank Aaron and Mickey Mantle together, the 1958 Topps "World Series Batting Foes" card. With a total of 1,291 home runs between the two players, this card packs a good punch. Aaron made his mark with a quick bat and consistency while Mantle made his with brute strength. In 1957, both men were named MVP of their respective leagues, but it would be Aaron who walked away with a World Series championship as his Braves defeated Mantle's Yankees in a seven game series. Aaron would shine at the plate by hitting .393 average with 11 hits, three home runs and 7 RBI. This win would be Aaron's lone championship during his 23 year career. The two players are featured on this card commemorating that World Series, with both Mantle and Aaron signing the card in black and blue inks. In overall fine condition.
