A piece of paper on which there is a note in blue ballpoint pen in the hand of Jimi Hendrix that reads ‘to Barry the Best of luck + Happiness to you – Jimi Hendrix’. Jimi wrote the note to a security guard when he performed at Odeon Theatre, Blackpool, Lancashire, England on 15th April 1967. The autographed note comes with a letter from the previous owner that reads ‘My father, Barry Shearman was a member of the security team for Jimi Hendrix when he visited Blackpool in 1967 when supporting the Walker Brothers at the Blackpool Opera House (sic). He obtained the autograph of Jimi Hendrix on this occasion’. The paper measures 7.1” x 4.5.” There is a tape stain on the top left corner and the paper has been folded and laid flat. The condition is very good plus. A nice example of Hendrix’s autograph and handwriting. Accompanied by a Tracks COA.
