A rare set of working lyrics in Jimi Hendrix's hand for the song Crosstown Traffic, 1968, the 26 lines written in a moderately faded black ballpoint pen on two sheets of yellow notepaper, the lyrics representing the first verse of the song and chorus and a working, unused version of the second verse with deletions as Hendrix worked out the song's wording.

"Crosstown Traffic" is a song written by Jimi Hendrix and recorded by the Jimi Hendrix Experience for their third album, Electric Ladyland (1968). It was released as a single after "All Along the Watchtower", reaching number 52 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 37 on the UK Singles Chart. The song is held as one of the best created by The Jimi Hendrix Experience and appears on Hendrix's greatest hits album.
