By experimenting with electronic sound, Hendrix created a musical drive that had been previously unimaginable. In late 1966, Hendrix journeyed to England and organized the Jimi Hendrix Experience, a creative rock band that introduced itself to audiences via the 1967 album, "Are You Experienced", which quickly became one of the greatest rock masterpieces of the 1960's.
