Cuba won the 12th World Port Baseball Tournament held in Rotterdam, Netherlands with a 5-2 record. Among the future big leaguers on the roster was Jose Abreu, whose .383 average and three home runs helped lead his country to the championship. Already the island's most feared slugger, Abreu defected shortly after the tournament, after which he was promptly signed by the White Sox and became the 2014 American League Rookie of the Year. This SSK PE2000C bat is a Cuba team pro stock bat and was used by Jose Abreu during the World Port Tournament in 2013. The bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. The barrel is stamped with Cuba team script. It is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the individual who obtained this bat directly from Abreu on July 12, 2013 at the conclusion of the Tournament. Abreu has signed the barrel in silver, adding the "Game Used" inscription. Accompanied by a full Letter of Grading & Authenticity from PSA/DNA, with the bat earning the coveted grade of GU 10!
