The debate of LeBron James vs. Carmelo Anthony may be fairly obsolete at this point, but it was one that went on for years, starting when the two faced off several times in high school. Going into the 2003 NBA draft, both players appeared to be locks for the top spot. While LeBron ultimately won out the top spot with the Cavaliers (with Carmelo going 3rd with the Nuggets), their rivalry was just beginning. The players competed hard for the Rookie of the Year award (LeBron ran away with it in the end). It was then that the separation between the two became clear, and King James now holds his nickname for good reason ask the king of basketball. Offered here is a limited edition (50/100) framed display featuring an 11" x 11" photograph of the two power houses in their rookie year, signed by both James and Anthony in silver felt tip marker. Framed with jersey numbers to create a beautiful 15.5" x 29.5" framed display. In fine condition with minor handling wear. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with LeBron's signature grading a GEM MINT 10 and Carmelo's grading a MINT 9.
