Typed Letter Signed, “Wm. H. Taft,” as president-elect, one page, 5.5” x 8.5,” November 26, 1908, Hot Springs, VA. Brief correspondence on personal letterhead, Taft writes to Mr. Berchman shortly after winning the presidential election, for his “words of congratulations and good wishes." In very good to fine condition, with scattered toning and soiling, and mild edge creasing, none of which affect the signature.
