Early music waiver contract signed by Elvis and his father, Vernon Presley. Document measures 8.5” x 11,” and reads, in part: “We, the undersigned, being all of the Directors of ELVIS PRESLEY MUSIC, INC, do hereby waive notice of the Special Meeting of the Board of Directors.” The Auberbach Brothers of Hill and Range have countersigned the contract as well. In fine condition with unobtrusive scattered light creases, slight toning, and discoloration to signature from red to blue, though still remaining easily distinguished. This contract dates to a very important time in Elvis’s early career—1956 has been referred to have “The King’s” breakout year, including the release of three #1 singles: “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” and “Love Me Tender.”
