A choice piece from one of the greatest writers of his generation, offered here is an unpublished poem titled "A Prophecy of Passion", written by the late legendary Tupac Shakur. One page, 8.5" x 11", on a single lined sheet of notebook paper, the poem is dated August 25, 1995 and was penned by Shakur towards the end of his incarceration at the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York. Written by Shakur to his friend, Simi Cruise, the poem reads as follows:

A Prophecy of Passion

Aug 25, 1995, 7:32pm
I. I have no problem being patient
I am not pressed 4 time
I have no wish 2 undress your body
until I undress your mind

II. Let me poetry be stimulation
Anticipate my touch
Let's be lovers without the penetration
The situation's to fragile 4 us 2 rush

III. I've made love 2 U a million times
In my mind we've done it all
I spent many nights inside u
I was there each time u called

IV. In reality we've never mer but in time we will be close
Let these words become a propechy 2 what awaits us both.
