Typed letter on one page of 7” x 9.5” personal Northampton, Massachusetts stationary dated August 22, 1929 and signed at the conclusion in ink by Calvin Coolidge. Correspondence to Dr. Hamilton Holt reads, in part: “I shall be delighted to see you at any time on almost any subject…My office is at No. 25 Main Street and I am here usually from around nine o’clock until early noon. I do not get back in the afternoon before three or four o’clock.” Trimmed and in fine condition, with some minor damp staining to lower left corner, not affecting the bold signature. Accompanied a full Beckett/BAS Letter of Authenticity.
