Typescript entitled “Last Moments With President Kennedy,” one 8.5 x 11 page, signed at the conclusion in black ink, “Oscar L. Huber, C. M.” In his statement Huber refutes certain claims made by the author of “The Death of a President,” William Manchester, and puts the details in his own words, in part: “Upon arriving at Parkland Hospital with scarcely a moments delay…I was escorted directly to the emergency room where the wounded President Kennedy, covered with a sheet, was lying on the emergency room table…I removed, to the tip of his nose, the sheet that covered the President’s head and immediately began administering the Last Rites of the Catholic Church, using the short form since he was apparently dead…death’s silence permeated the room…a Secret Service Agent told me to give information to no one.” In fine condition.
