Rogers, and reading, in part, “We are returning from the first sea trials of the USS LAFAYETTE, our twenty-ninth nuclear powered submarine…the first of a new, larger class of Polaris submarines; she is also the largest submarine ever built.” Signed at the conclusion in bold black ink by Eddie Rickenbacker. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. In fine condition.
