To Mrs. Ralph Beckel, and reading, in part, “A copy of my book was sent to the library of every public, high and junior high school, college and university…it was principally for the younger generation I wrote the book with the hope it might be of some assistance in helping them to solve the problems that would confront them as they traveled along life’s highway.” Signed at the conclusion in bold black ink by Eddie Rickenbacker.
