Fantastic one-page letter, 8.2” x 11.65,” in the hand of George Harrison with a design for an acoustic guitar drawn by The Beatle, which was sent to Luthier Tony Zemaitis, on September 2, 1998. The letter which is on George’s personal Friar Park, Henley-On-Thames letterhead paper reads: “Dear Tony – this type of thing – except nicer! Script om TAT SAT. thanks a lot for remembering me – love to Ann – see you later, George.”

Under the letter George has drawn a proposed design for a guitar which he was requesting that Tony would make for him.

Comes from the estate of Tony Zemaitis, the world famous luthier and friend of many of the most famous guitarists in the world, Zemaitis made guitars for artists such as George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Mary Hopkin, Marc Bolan, Donovan, Bob Dylan, David Gilmour, Peter Frampton, Ronnie Wood and Ronnie Lane. In very good to fine condition, with staple holes at the top, having formerly been folded to fit into an envelope, the letter has now been laid flat. One-of-a-kind Harrison offering, featuring a hand-accomplished sketch of his instrument of choice. Accompanied by a Tracks COA.
