This 4.5" x 7" letter, dated September 18, 1887, was handwritten and signed by Samuel Clemens (better known by his nom de plume, Mark Twain). The letter reads: "Dear Sir: I would like to [unknown], which is just one of those impossiblities. I never have any time after I get home from summering. Truly yours, S.L. Clemens". In fine condition, the note is written on the inside right of a folded piece of parchment. Some handling wear and additional creasing, otherwise in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
