This famous photograph of Mickey Mantle was accepted by the Baseball Hall of Fame from many years' worth of entries; The Mick once called it "the greatest photograph that I've seen of myself". The original is black and white and was taken by renowned photographer Ray Gallo; this is a beautifully colorized 15" x 20" print. Gallo once said about this piece: "This classic photograph is a contrast to the greatness and mightiest power of all of baseball. Mickey Mantle is inspirational, immortal, and legendary to all of America. For the years of excellent cooperation I am honored and grateful to you." This terrific image is beautifully autographed and inscribed by Mickey Mantle in silver metallic marker against the black background; the contrast is incredible! In overall fine condition.
