After they were the Philadephia Athletics, but before they became the current Oakland Athletics, the A's spent a brief 13 seasons playing in Kansas City. Offered here is a relic from that time period, a vintage 1958 Kansas City A's team-signed Official American League (Harridge) baseball with signatures from 29 members of that team. Signatures include Roger Maris, Whitey Herzog, Frank House, Hal Smith, Don Heffner, Dick Tomanek, Harry Craft, Bob Cerv, Jack Urban, Spud Chandler, Bob Swift, Harry Simpson, Hector Lopez, Preston Ward, Lou Klimchock, Joe DeMaestri, Walt Craddock, Mike Baxes, Tom Gorman, Bob Davis, Bob Martyn, Chico Carrasquel, Harry Chiti, Bill Tuttle, Ray Herbert, Bob Grim, Ralph Terry & Bud Daley, all in blue ballpoint. In incredible condition, the sphere remains creamy with just very minor toning. Signatures all stand out boldly. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Steve Grad/Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
