This 4.5" x 7" piece of stationary has been signed by President Grover Cleveland and First Lady Francis Cleveland, with both adding their own handwritten Shakespeare quotes. Grover, as president-elect, quotes The Merry Wives of Windsor: "Tis not good that children should know any wickedness - Grover Cleveland, Lakewood, N. J., Dec. 6, 1892", while Frances adds a quote from Titus Andronicus underneath, "Some say that ravens foster forlorn children - Frances F. Cleveland, Lakewood, N. J. Dec. 6, 1892." Accompanied by two original electoral tickets, one for Cleveland/Hendricks in 1884 and the other for Cleveland/Thurman in 1888. The ultimate Cleveland Presidency commemoration! In fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Steve Grad/Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
