This scarce and impressive Naval commission was signed by President William H. Taft with a large and bold signature on December 21, 1911. In the document, Taft appoints Clark H. Wells as a First Lieutenant in the Marine Corps, countersigned by the Acting Secretary of the Navy. The large blue seal is intact. There is some minor handling wear and creasing but the document overall presents beautifully and is in very good condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
