Partly-printed, one-page vellum land grant, approximately 10” x 16”, dated November 13, 1822, and signed “James Monroe” by the 5th President of the United States. Via this document, Monroe grants Samuel Ream of Delaware, OH a piece of land, paid in full to the General Land Office. The document is also cosigned by the Commissioner of the General Land Office, John McLean. The seal in the lower left corner is no longer affixed, but the document is in overall fine condition with some staining around the two vertical folds. Monroe’s signature is exceptional! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
