The Four Horsemen of Notre Dame comprised a group of American football players at the University of Notre Dame under acclaimed coach Knute Rockne. They were the backfield of Notre Dame's 1924 football team. The players that made up this group were Harry Stuhldreher, Don Miller, Jim Crowley, and Elmer Layden. The coin was termed and players brought to fame by sportswriter Grantland Rice and a student publicity aide. Offered here is an 8" x 10" black & white photo signed by each of the Horsemen in varying blue and black steel tip pen inks. A seldom seen collectible from one of the greatest groups of collegiate athletes in football history. In fine condition with some minor creasing to the photo. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
