Highly desirable partly printed one page 1836 Military commission document signed by acting President Andrew Jackson. Dated July 1, 1836, President Jackson grants a military promotion of Alexander Brooke to Lieutenant Colonel. Boldly signed at the conclusion by Jackson and countersigned by Secretary of War Lewis Cass. The folio parchment document is mounted and has some stains, browning, and other imperfections throughout as you can see in the pictures. Accompanied by full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
