June 20, 1977 document agreement between Sutter Hospitals Research Foundation and Joe Louis stating “It is mutually agreed between the two parties hereinabove stated for the Honorarium of $1,000 plus first class airfare for Mr. and Mrs. Joe Louis from Las Vegas, Nevada to Minneapolis, Minnesota and return and hotel expenses at the Hotel Raddison in Minneapolis, Joe Louis herby agrees to appear at the annual sports banquet of the Fraternal Order of Eagles to be held Wednesday evening, July 27th at the Hotel Raddison..” The document is signed by Louis in black felt pen with a Mint signature. The document comes with copies of the airline checks, a photocopy of the check made out to Louis for $1,000 and a photocopy of the entire agreement. The document has two storage folds and exhibits some handling wear. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
