This is an original black & white candid photograph of Boris Karloff, best known for his recurring role as Frankenstein in the original films of the 1930s. Karloff has gone onto sign the photo in purple felt tip. In overall fine condition with some handling wear and light scattered surface impressions. The date "Wed. Oct. 20, 1954" is notated on the back, either noting the date the photo was taken or the date it was signed. There is also Kodak stamping and the number "234" stamped to the reverse.
