Instilled by 1979 owner Jerry Buss, but perfected by the likes of Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthey & Pat Riley, the Lakers would win five NBA Championships over a short eight year period. Capping that impressive run of championships was the 1987-88 Lakers who would take down the Bad Boys from Detroit in seven games. Offered here is a team signed NBA Spalding leather basketball signed by 12 key members of the Championship squad. Signatures in black felt tip marker include: Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pat Riley, James Worthy, Byron Scott, Mike Smrek, Wes Matthews, Billy Thompson, A.C Green, Mychal Thompson & others.
