Partly-printed vellum document signed as president at the conclusion by William H. Taft in striking black ink. President Taft appoints Adam H. Knight as "Postmaster at Canby in the County of Clachamas, State of Oregon." Overall in excellent condition, rivaling even the finest preserved documents from that era with very minor handling wear and a vibrant gold foil seal still affixed. Authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with a full letter of authenticity.
