The first of its kind we have ever offered, this is a check dated October 21, 1819 that has been completely written in the hand of President John Quincy Adams. The check reads: "Office of Discount and Deposit of the Bank of the United States, Boston, 21 October 1819. 293 Dolls. 97 cts. Pay to A. Kerr or Order. Two Hundred and Ninety Three Dollars 97/100.
