1927 was a killer year for Babe Ruth, with the Sultan of Swat hitting a then-unprecedented 60 home runs in that season. Offered here is an original score card/program for the July 18, 1927 game versus the St. Louis Browns, in which the Yankees beat the Browns 10-4. The inside of the score card shows official lineups (including Babe Ruth batting 3rd and Lou Gehrig batting 4th) and pencil markings from the original fan who was adamantly keeping track of the game. The real appeal for this piece, though, is the pencil signature penned by Ruth himself across the front of the program. This lucky fan was able to snag The Babe's signature at the game. In overall fine condition, the program does have one horizontal fold that goes through part of Ruth's signature. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
