Released on July 27, 1984, "Ride the Lightning" would be a a monster success for Metallica. Selling an astounding six million copies in the United States alone, the album solidified Metallica's position as the leaders in the metal movement and brought the genre out of the basements and clubs and into the mainstream culture. We're please to offer here an insert from the "Ride The Lightning" LP that has been handsomely signed by all four members of Metallica in black felt tip marker: Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and the late Cliff Burton. Given Burton's untimely demise in 1986, group signed albums from Metallica's original lineup are of the utmost rarities and are sure-fire investments. Some handling wear, otherwise fine. Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from the original owner of the autographs.
