Mel Ott played his entire 22-career for the New York Giants from 1926-1947. He was one of the most feared power hitters of his time, leading the National League in home runs 6 times and he was the first National League player to hit 500 home runs. A 12-time National League All-Star, he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951. Ott died in an automobile accident in 1958 at the age of 49, making his signed material an always desired commodity. Offered here is a vintage 3” x 5” index card signed in ballpoint pen. Index exhibits moderate toning but the black autograph is bold against the yellowing card. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
