Thomas Edison is widely regarded to have some of the best penmanship in written English history. He even developed and perfected the approved "library hand" to be used in libraries to ensure uniformity and legibility in the handwritten cards of library catalogs developed by Melvil Dewey. Offered here is a February 4, 1902 one-page 5" x 7" poem titled "Miss Quay", handwritten in near-perfect fashion by America's greatest inventor, Thomas Edison. Eighteen gorgeous lines of text span the page from top to bottom, finished off with a beautiful "Thomas A. Edison" autograph. Far and away the most unique Thomas Edison signed collectible we have ever offered! Considering it's nearly 120-year age, the sheet remains in very good condition. Authenticated & encapsulated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
