The Mercury Seven were the group of seven Mercury astronauts announced by NASA in 1959, piloting the manned spaceflights of the Mercury Program from May 1961 to May 1963. Gracing this ONL (Giles) baseball are four members of that elite group - Gus Grissom, Wally Schira, Alan Shepard, and Scott Carpenter. Grissom tragically passed away in the Apollo I launching pad fire in January 1967, so he is an especially rare find! Overall in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
