Offered here is a contract between Bob Dylan and Alfred A. Knoff, Inc., in which the artist grants the publisher exclusive right to print, publish, and sell his work entitled "Tarantula". "Tarantula" was Dylan's contribution to the stream-of-consciousness "beat poetry" popularized by the likes of Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac. This two-page contract dated March 1972 has been signed at the conclusion in black felt tip by Dylan. In fine condition with expected wear to the document. Contracts signed by Bob Dylan are seldom encountered, with this example being all the more desirable given that "Tarantula" was his first published book! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
