Now making a name for himself with the Yankees, Giancarlo (née Mike) Stanton played his first 8 seasons in the Big Leagues with the Florida Marlins. He is one of the biggest power hitters in the league - in 2011, his average home run distance was 416.6 feet with an average off-bat speed of 107.4 MPH. This Louisville Slugger U47 Giancarlo professional model baseball bat was ordered by Stanton and used during that 2011 season. The bat remains uncracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks and stitch impressions are visible on the barrel, as well as an impression from a weighted batting donut. Cleat impressions can be seen on all sides of the barrel, and there is a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. It doesn't get much better than this from the 2x Silver Slugger! Accompanied by a full Letter of Grading & Authenticity with the bat receiving a grade of GU 10 from PSA/DNA!
