A talented singer/songwriter and musician, Shannon Hoon would find his mainstream success as the lead singer in Blind Melon from 1990-1995, with their big break coming in the summer of 1992. Releasing the video for the album track "No Rain" as a single along with the video which focused on a theme of the "normal" crowd versus the lonely outcast, fitting right in with the Grunge movement of the time. Offered here is an 8" x 10" c. 1991 Capital Records promotional photograph prior to their "big break" signed by Shannon Hoon who adds "My Favorite Place, The Pacific Northwest, Very Green! Shannon Hoon." Overall in fine condition with scattered surface impressions, rubbing, discoloration & ink transfer issues.
