Although not often thought of as a duo, two of the greatest sluggers to ever hit the field are featured in this candid newspaper photograph. Contemporaries Ted Williams and Roger Maris both broke (and maintained) Major League records with their batting, with Williams batting an unheard-of season average of .406 in 1941 - a record he still holds to this day - and Maris hitting "61 in '61" - a record which wasn't broken until 1999 by Sammy Sosa. This 4" x 4" photograph has been signed by both players in black ballpoint pen and stands in fine condition, with few flas to speak of. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
