The Red Sox seemingly impossible dream of the 1967 season became a nightmare for Tony Conigliaro as the star took a fastball in the cheek on August 18 and was sidelined for a year-and-a-half. Offered here is a 1969-70 game used C258 baseball bat by Tony Conigliaro. Weighing in at 34.9 ounces, while measuring a massive 36 inches, this game used lumber displays heavy use and remains uncracked. Several ball & stitch marks can be seen on the right, left & back barrel with a heavy coat of pine-tar to the handle. Rounding off this gamer is Conigliaro's number (25) written on the knob in black felt tip marker. Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear. Authenticated & graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
