Few signatures are sought after quite like that of America's 16th President, Abraham Lincoln. As the American Civil War raged across the country, President Abraham Lincoln would unite the Union in arguably it's roughest time as a young nation. Ultimately his push for change would be what caused others to seek his life, leaving the United States in shock on April 15th, 1865 as Lincoln would be assassinated. With nearly all of Lincoln's material unsurfaced at this point, condition sensitive historical collectors should take note with this high quality offering! Here for your bidding pleasure is a near-mint vintage signed 1" x 2.75" document segment by former President Abraham Lincoln in strong black ink. Attractively framed & matted to an overall size of 16" x 22". Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear to the edges. Authenticated by Beckett/BAS with a full letter of authenticity.
