In Dwight D. Eisenhower's "Mandate for Change", Eisenhower writes an account of the events, as he saw them, leading up to a sweeping mandate, and then pursues the theme of change in the years 1953-1956. Offered here is a first edition hardcover of the book, in which he tells not only what decisions he took during all of the problems and successes of the administration, but what he thought in taking them and what he learned. The limited signed edition #1419 of 1434 has been signed on the inside by Eisenhower. The black felt tip signature stands strong and the book is in overall good condition, with minor handling wear.
